In today's day and age, there's a wide variety of ways to earn money online. From utilizing social media as an influencer to starting your own online eCommerce business to marketing yourself as a freelance worker on various gig work platforms – the sky is the limit.

However, there's another simple way to earn money online, and it doesn't strictly revolve around the current online trends of social media influencing, freelancing, or eCommerce. If you've never heard of LifePoints, then it's time for you to take a look down below and learn all about how you can earn money online.

If you're not already familiar with the process, taking online surveys can help you earn some extra money online while contributing to meaningful surveys, canvases, and studies that can help to push critical research forward. These types of online surveys can span everything from academic points of inquiry to scientific studies, medical studies, market research, advertising studies, and so much more.

You see, these surveys are tremendously helpful for the organizations and institutions that publish them for several different reasons – and while you might not necessarily become part of the big picture, your contribution matters! And that's always a nice thing to keep in mind when you're taking an online survey.

With that in mind, there is one paid survey site in particular that we'd like to talk about, describe, and bring to light for all of those interested in taking online surveys.

In this detailed LifePoints review, we'll take a long, hard look at LifePoints surveys and show you just how this exciting survey website works.

What is LifePoints?

LifePoints – also known as the LifePoints Survey Panel, is a comprehensive survey website that allows ordinary people like you to take surveys, influence products, and earn cash – all by taking the surveys listed on the platform from the comfort of your own home. As one of the most accessible survey sites out there, LifePoints makes it easy to sign up, create your account, and begin taking surveys in just a few minutes.

Is LifePoints Legitimate?

LifePoints has a community of over 5,000,000 members and operates in over 70 countries. LifePoints has been doing market research since since 1946 – although it was initially named National Family Opinion (NFO). In 2019 they merged members from their MySurvey and Global Test Market panels and rebranded the new survey panel as LifePoints.

LifePoints has a a rank of excellent ranking on Trustpilot by existing members. In addition, as an active user I can vouch that they do pay their members. More about that later!

Of course, like all the survey panels we review, LifePoints is free to join, and they take your privacy serious. Their site clearly states they will never reveal, share, or sale your information to third parties without your permission. In addition their members' portal has granular controls over cookies used while using their site.

Who is eligible to join?

The best part about LifePoints is just that – it’s easy to join and sign up. In fact, you only need to be 16 years old to join.

As long as you're of the proper age and reside in one of their participating countries, you can join LifePoints, create your account, and begin taking surveys for money.

Unlike other survey panels which are only available to US residents, LifePoints Panel is open to residents of many nations. Several of the current countries from which you can join are US, Canada, the UK, France, Italy, and Argentina.

What Types of Surveys Does LifePoints Offer?

Remember, while there are several topics and areas of inquiry that online surveys can cover, LifePoints makes a specific focus on customer feedback for market research or product research purposes.

Essentially, businesses utilize LifePoints' services to construct a survey around the services that they offer. They conduct surveys on the products they sell or the concepts they're experimenting with to determine how their services, products, or ideas perform. By targeting a larger group of consumers with these surveys, Lifepoints can provide excellent feedback for their partners that sponsor the products behind these surveys.

This market or product research is critical for businesses looking to gain a competitive advantage. And for that very reason, many of them are willing to pay for the ability to solicit feedback and answers from willing consumers – even if they might sit outside of their intended target market.

With that said, it's essential to understand that the services LifePoints offer aren't very different from how businesses would solicit feedback in the days before the internet. Back before the internet was a thing, companies would simply place phone calls to random landline phone numbers, asking the person on the other end if they'd like to participate in the survey.

Likewise, they would create surveys in-house and then mail them out, hoping that someone will keep the study, answer it, and return it. Thankfully, the internet has made the processes much faster and much more effective. Today, LifePoints is one of the largest online survey providers in the world. It allows companies to solicit more responses for less money, ultimately enabling business leaders to bypass their marketing department budget or working with their regional postal system, only to see their printed surveys thrown in the garbage.

You see, you can't overstate just how important the internet has become in the world of advertising, marketing, and market research. For that very reason, LifePoints provides businesses with a place to conduct research while giving consumers the chance to earn some cash.

LifePoints Is a Modern Platform

One of the biggest things that LifePoints has going for it is that it's a totally fun, user-friendly, and modern platform that offers a modern internet-age experience for users. Their modern web portal is absolutely critical because surveys in and of themselves seem somewhat outdated to many consumers.

With that said, LifePoints scores points on its ability to offer a clean, seamless, and simple platform that users can easily navigate, understanding how to use surveys, how to complete them, how to track their survey points, and how to redeem their points for rewards and gift cards.

Can You Make Money with LifePoints?

When a user takes a LifePoints survey, they earn an accumulation of points. When a user reaches enough points, they have a chance to redeem their points for a number of exciting rewards. You can choose gift cards from major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Target and more.

Prefer cash? No Problem. LifePoints has you covered there too with payout via PayPal.

It's also important to note just how easy LifePoints makes it take a survey and a simple point-tracking system. Essentially, the LifePoints panel provides users with an estimated time to completion metric, along with a clear indication regarding the number of points that you can earn when you complete the survey.

How Much Are LifePoints worth?

Typically, survey point accumulations pay between 100 to 150 points for roughly 10 to 20 minute surveys. Once you have accumulated as little as 541 points you can exchange for a $5 Amazon gift card. If you press on to earn 600 points, you can exchange for $5 in cash via PayPal.

Earn More Points with Diary Surveys and Product Testing

Looking for higher paying opportunities? Lifepoints offers a few other ways to earn points via LifePoints that go beyond answering questions and completing surveys. For example, LifePoints also offers an exciting feature where you can track your behaviors and experience in a private online diary and continue to earn points.

The data you publish in your online diary is used by research companies to gain insight into how you've used a particular product. Your feedback ultimately allows them to shape the future of that product moving forward. Since you've contributed to their understanding of a product, you're able to receive another reward!

Keep in mind, diary entries can undoubtedly take up some more time than taking standard surveys; but that's why there's an opportunity to earn more points.

In addition to your online diary, you can also earn points through product testing. Testing products is always an exciting option for people who want to see and experience some of the most cutting-edge and innovative products soon to make it to the market.

In some instances, you might find a company willing to mail you a prototype of a test product to try out. From there, you'll provide the company with thoughtful and insightful feedback, which will give you the ability to earn more points on LifePoints.

As you can see, there are three easy and simple ways to earn points with LifePoints. Depending on your level of interest or your time commitment, you could set yourself up to gain a significant number of LifePoints.

How do I Redeem My LifePoints?

Points-Balance

Redeeming LifePoints is easy, and you can see your current balance on the main page. The site will let you know when you have enough points to redeem. Simply click redeem, and you will be directed to the rewards section.

In the rewards section, you can choose eGift Cards, traditional Gift Cards, PayPal, or donate to your favorite charity. eGift Cards and PayPal take 5 to 7 days to be processed. You can also go to the My Rewards section to check the status of your rewards.

All It Takes Is A Few Minutes

Arguably, the absolutely difference-maker when it comes to online survey sites is that LifePoints makes it easy to earn points in just a few minutes. With a super fast and seamless signup process, you will gain access to surveys that typically don't take longer than 20-minutes. Plus, you will have multiple avenues in which you can earn points.
